Everton fans were reminiscing over the Steven Naismith era at Goodison Park after the club released a recent interview with the former Blue.
In an exclusive interview, the 33-year-old has opened up about his time on Merseyside and how he was sceptical over whether he would succeed with the Premier League outfit. Naismith also goes on to talk about the impact Everton had on his career, admitting that he had ‘an unbelievable time’ during his four years with the Toffees.
The now-Hearts player established himself as a fan favourite whilst he was with Everton, and many fans are still fond of him now. Naismith made a total of 123 appearances for the Blues, scoring 26 goals and assisting 12 (via Transfermarkt).
Many Everton supporters loved the latest interview with the former club icon, with many remarking on his ‘top class’ ability and attitude. One fan has branded him ‘one of the best’ whilst another has even called him the ‘Scottish Messi’.
One of the best footballing brains around. Never ever did the simple stuff wrong. Maximised his talent & then some. The anti-Mirallas.

Top class, underrated at Everton I always thought . Realised what we missed when we sold him. Perfect squad player and played his part. Top class finisher as well.
