Everton: Fans do not want to see Fabian Delph return to the first team

Loads of Everton fans have made it clear that they do not want to see midfielder Fabian Delph return to the first team squad for their next Premier League game against Arsenal.
The 30-year-old missed his side’s 3-1 win against Crystal Palace on Saturday having been sent off the week before against Watford, picking up two yellow cards in quick succession. Morgan Schneiderlin and Gylfi Sigurdsson received praise as the Toffees won two games on the bounce, with the Frenchman surprising the Gwladys Street faithful with his outing.
Despite Delph’s first season being somewhat hampered with injuries during his short time at Goodison Park, he turned some of the fans against him after getting into arguments on social media with supporters following his side’s 1-0 defeat to a youthful Liverpool side in the FA Cup third round. His recent dismissal at Vicarage Road and everything before that added to the supporters’ frustrations over Delph making his return. One fan simply put “absolutely not” in response to @Efccol, who asked whether Delph should return to the team, while another described him as a “liability”.

Never want to see this ungrateful degrading, spoilt excuse of a footballer in the royal blue ever again!

Hell no. Hopefully Gomes is back fit, and Schneiderlin did enough to keep his place imo.

Nope.
Gomes, Schneiderlin, Sigurdsson, Davies, Holgate.
I’d play all of them ahead of him.

No way he’s a liability
