Everton: Fans do not want to see Unai Emery become the new manager - Everton

Everton fans have dismissed any suggestions that Unai Emery could be the club’s new manager after the latest reports that emerged on Monday.

Emery, 48, was recently sacked by Arsenal after 18 months in charge due to the Gunners’ poor start to the new campaign, with no wins from seven games.

Having previously managed Paris Saint-Germain, Emery has the European experience to walk into another job, if available.

According to Sky Sports, the Toffees have approached the Spaniard to become the next permanent manager of Everton, with Emery believed to be part of the four-man shortlist that chairman Bill Kenwright and majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri have devised.

Supporters were not convinced with the club’s move towards Emery and made their feelings clear on social media.
