Everton fans heaped praise on both Alex Iwobi and Moise Kean after they helped out at a local foodbank in Liverpool.
Ahead of the Merseyside derby on Wednesday, both sides of Stanley Park were encouraged to make their donations of non-perishable goods to those less fortunate before kick-off.
Both Iwobi and Kean contributed to the blue side of the city as they witnessed the increasing demands for its service and assisted in preparing food parcels to those in need.
We’re urging all supporters attending the 234th Merseyside derby tomorrow to do the same! 💙 #LIVEVE

Iwobi told the club’s official website that it “saddened his heart” that such initiatives existed but said that it was a “pleasure” to help out where he can.
Foodbank trucks are located outside of Goodison Park on matchdays where supporters can drop off their respective donations before heading into the stadium.
Supporters loved the kind gestures of both Iwobi and Kean and made their feelings clear on social media.
