Everton: Fans hope for sale of Sandro following Valladolid goal

Everton: Fans hope for sale of Sandro following Valladolid goal - Everton

Everton fans have reacted to a 18-yard wonder-strike scored by Sandro for Real Valladolid (@PremierSportsTV), with the majority weighing up what they can get for him in the summer transfer window.

Sandro joined the Spanish side on loan in the summer last year – his third loan spell away from Everton in the space of a year. The 24-year-old previously spent time with Sevilla and Real Sociedad, with whom he failed to score a single goal (Transfermarkt).

Valladolid fell 4-1 to Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, with Sandro’s strike merely a consolation. The Spaniard scored his third league goal for the club in 19 appearances – his first goal for the La Liga side came after a two-and-a-half year career drought (via Soccerbase).

Many Everton fans are simply mocking the striker for not being a consistent goal-scorer, but the majority are hoping Sandro continues some sort of run of form so they can offload him permanently in the summer.

One fan has urged him to keep scoring goals and they ‘might be able to get rid’ of him in the next window.

Everton fans, where do you see Sandro in the summer? Join the discussion in the comments!
