Everton: Fans implore club not to sell Jonjoe Kenny amid Schalke interest

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Bundesliga outfit Schalke are keen on making their loan deal for Everton right-back Jonjoe Kenny permanent after an impressive season so far – prompting these Toffees supporters to implore the club not to go through with it.
Kenny has helped the German club bounce back after a poor start to the season to draw level on points with fourth-placed Borussia Dortmund – with the Toffees youngster playing every game under manager David Wagner’s tenure so far. The 22-year-old has also notched two assists from full-back in 17 league starts during that time (WhoScored.com), prompting a few supporters to rate the Englishman over current Everton right-back Djibril Sidibe.
In comparison, Kenny has recorded more clearances (2.4) and blocks per game (0.2) than the Frenchman while Sidibe reigns superior in terms of tackles (3.6) and interceptions (1.9).
Regardless of the pair’s equal footing when it comes to statistics, these Toffees supporters are not keen on flirting with the idea of selling Kenny – here’s what they had to say on Twitter.
He’s better then sidibe 😂🤷🏼♂️

Prefer him to Sidibe and seems on a upward curve. He has no doubt improved during his loan spell in Germany.

Kenny may not be the most talented player but plays with heart and passion which is what this this Everton squad is lacking atm. Hopefully keep him, play him and let him progress under Ancelotti for me
