Rumoured Everton transfer target Adrien Rabiot has reportedly gone on strike and is refusing to return to Italy.
According to Italian outlet Foot Mercato (via @TheGwladysSt), the Frenchman has been in talks with Carlo Ancelotti over a move to Everton and has since gone on strike at current club Juventus.
Should Everton sign Adrien Rabiot this summer?
The midfielder has failed to contribute to any goals this season in Serie A (via Transfermarkt) but he is still being monitored by Ancelotti. Adding someone of Rabiot’s expertise to Everton’s midfield could be the ingredient they need to spice up their attack, which has lacked creativity this campaign. Only two goals and two assists have come from the Blues’ midfield in the Premier League this campaign (as per Transfermarkt).
Plenty of Toffees fans have voiced their opinion on the Rabiot update and many want to see him make the move to Merseyside. One fan has branded him ‘a class above’ and has said they ‘hope he comes’ to Goodison Park. Another Evertonian believes that Ancelotti could ‘sort his attitude out’.
I don't care what kind of badness people say about this egg! He is a class above and would be the first name on my team sheet. I hope he comes I really do.

It’s a hard one though because he is a good player and think Ancelotti could sort his attitude out

I don’t know much about the guy. Our central midfield is weak though. Could he be an upgrade and the things I’m hearing about his attitude can Ancelloti bring him in line?
