Many Everton fans took to Twitter to respond to rising star Anthony Gordon’s latest post.
The youngster has posted a photo of himself alongside Carlo Ancelotti during his second senior match for the Toffees this season.
Gordon has accumulated seven goals and three assists across all competitions this campaign, including his six goals scored in nine Premier League 2 appearances for the reserve team (via Transfermarkt).
Should Anthony Gordon be given more time in the first team?
The 19-year-old made his senior debut back in 2017 in the Europa League but hasn’t been able to keep a spot in the first team matchday squads. His first match in action with the senior side this season was against West Ham, in which he contributed to a 1-1 draw (via BBC Sport).
Plenty of Blues fans on Twitter loved his optimism as he captioned his photo ‘More moments like these’. One supporter has commented to say that ‘an entire fanbase is behind you’.
