Everton fans have praised the actions of captain Seamus Coleman after his side’s 1-1 draw against Tottenham on Sunday.
The game ended in a stalemate but will be remembered by the horrifying injury to Andre Gomes after a tackle from behind by Spurs’ winger Son Heung-Min, which he was sent off for.
Should Cenk Tosun be playing more?
Dele Alli’s opener in the second half was cancelled out by Cenk Tosun’s 97th-minute equaliser after there were 12 minutes of added time due to the Portuguese midfielder’s trauma.
However, the atmosphere was sucked out of Goodison Park after the late challenge from Son which resulted in a fractured dislocation to his right ankle.

Spurs’ manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed after the final whistle that Coleman, 31, entered the away dressing room and spent time with Son to console him. This comes after the Ireland international broke his leg playing for his country against Wales in 2018.
Supporters reached out in their droves to pay tribute to Coleman after the game on social media.
