Plenty of Everton fans heaped praise on striker Moise Kean after what he did during his side’s 3-2 victory against Watford on Saturday.
The 19-year-old came on as a second-half substitute as his side came from two goals down to win only their third game away from home this season. A brace from Yerry Mina right on the stroke of half-time and a 90th-minute winner from Theo Walcott meant that the Toffees took all three points back to Merseyside.
Alex Iwobi made way for Kean with 25 minutes to go and with the score at 2-2. With Fabian Delph given his marching orders, it looked unlikely that Carlo Ancelotti’s side would have three-point success at Vicarage Road. But in the dying seconds, after some good work from Richarlison, Kean spotted Walcott in space before the Englishman rifled his shot past Ben Foster.
One fan compared his precision to that of former Inter Milan player Alvaro Recoba, who was renowned for his passing ability.
