Andre Gomes has only just recently returned from a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined from when he joined Everton on loan in the summer from Barcelona.
The Portuguese midfielder has since started the last two games and is slowly but surely becoming a fan favourite amongst the Toffees, helping Marco Silva’s side to victory over Crystal Palace a few weeks back before the Merseysiders came up agonisingly short in going down 2-1 to Manchester United last time out.
And after mixing with the local community and making an effort with the fans, Gomes has now strengthened his bond with the Goodison Park faithful, having said in a recent interview with EvertonTV that he ‘knows he made the best decision’ by moving to Merseyside.

Unsurprisingly, these recent comments have gone down extremely well among several Evertonians on Twitter, with plenty of fans calling on the club to make the midfielder’s deal permanent as soon as possible…
