Everton: Fans react to Chelsea’s reported interest in Jordan Pickford

Plenty of Everton fans have reacted to Chelsea’s reported interest in England number one Jordan Pickford.
Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb claim that Frank Lampard’s side have moved forward with interest in the former Sunderland shot stopper.
Current Blues number one Kepa has found his place questioned of late at the club with veteran keeper Willy Caballero playing in a few league games before the postponement of fixtures due to the recent pandemic.
Looking at the reported interest in Pickford, Everton would seemingly be keen to keep hold of the youngster as boss Carlo Ancelotti looks to build a side capable of taking on the top six in the Premier League.
Since arriving at Goodison Park in the summer of 2017, Pickford has been the number one choice for the Toffees, contributing this season with 29 appearances, keeping six clean sheets in the process.
Reacting to a tweet via @TheGwladysSt, fans shared their opinion on Chelsea’s interest in Pickford:

I’d happily accept what we paid for him. Decent keeper but hasn’t really improved. Thing is buying a top keeper now is very hard and is very expensive. Talking £50m for a world class keeper. For the time being I’d rather see us strengthen elsewhere

We should get donnaruma from ac Milan and grealish/Madison/foden

Surely has to be more than that fee though ??

At this point, having a home grown English player in your squad that’s PL quality is worth £40m alone

I’d keep him personally but I would like us to eventually buy a keeper like Donnarumma, then we will have strength in depth.
