The local residents will have until Friday 20th March to leave their feedback on the plans, which could hinder on whether Liverpool City Council will give them the go-ahead to commence with the venue’s construction.
It was revealed that the precise capacity of the Toffees’ new home on the waterfront will house 52,888 fans, with Everton’s Stadium Development Director Colin Chong stating that a lot of work has gone into getting the plans to this final stages. After digesting all of the information, supporters felt that the capacity was more than acceptable. One fan said that it is more enough, with many stating that they would rather fill the ground than have empty seats on matchdays.

Yes, just look at this weeks games, arsenal and city ground looked half empty, I’d rather it be full every week than saying ours holds 60k

Safe standing will be legal by the time it is built, 60k for domestic games will be about right.

100% a packed out stadium with greater demand can only be beneficial.
