Everton: Fans react to latest Philippe Coutinho reports

Many Everton fans have reacted to the potential of Philippe Coutinho arriving at the club this summer.
The 27-year-old midfielder has emerged as a target for Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti, who is expected to bring in a number of new faces to Goodison Park this summer. The former Liverpool playmaker is currently on loan with Bundesliga club Bayern Munich after a two-year spell with Barcelona, which did not go according to plan.
The Brazilian has been informed by officials at the Bavarian club that he will not be signed on a permanent deal and will therefore return to Catalonia, prompting speculation about his future.
Joining Barca from Liverpool in January 2018 for a fee rising to £142m, it was expected that Coutinho would go on to play a key part in the Catalan side’s future, but his time now seems to be over at the club with the likes of Everton and Chelsea showing increased interest.
According to the report, the Toffees are willing to accept conditions laid out by Barcelona for the €56m (£49m) valued ace. It will be a loan move with a mandatory option to buy.
Newcastle United have now also been linked with a move for Coutinho, whilst Sport also claims Steve Bruce’s side could make an ambitious move for Antoine Griezmann.
Reacting to the news via social media site Twitter, Everton fans shared their opinions:
Should be an optional purchase clause…big risk that mandatory future fee would be

Not that I expect it to happen like but anyone who wouldn’t take Coutinho for a reasonable deal is mad
