Everton caretaker manager Duncan Ferguson will remain in charge for their Carabao Cup quarter-final against Leicester City, as confirmed on their official Twitter.
Should Duncan Ferguson regret the Kean sub?
Ferguson, who spent six years with the club as a player, took over from Marco Silva, who was sacked following the 5-2 loss to Merseyside rivals Liverpool at Anfield.
Since then, he’s guided them to two impressive results; a 3-1 win over Chelsea and a 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
With the club yet to appoint a permanent successor, Ferguson will aim to guide the Toffees to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
Following that cup tie, Everton face Arsenal, Burnley and Newcastle before the end of 2019, as they look to climb up the Premier League table.
Ferguson has made quite the impression on fans since stepping up, so this news has pleased some of their supporters.
Here’s how they reacted:
Expect the atmosphere to be electric

Just give him the job! No one else would care or give as much as Big Duncan! Wanted an Everton man in charge for years me.The club has only ever had success with a proper blue in charge.
