Everton: Fans react to reports on Carlo Ancelotti’s potential backroom staff

Lots of Everton fans have been reacting to reports on who Carlo Ancelotti could potentially bring with him to Goodison Park, and there seems to be a mixed response from the Toffees faithful.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 60 year-old boss is ‘ready’ to sign with Everton.
His report claims ‘total agreement’ has been met between the two parties and it is now over to Napoli to sort their end of the bargain.
As Ancelotti was only sacked by the Naples outfit last week, there are still some creases to iron out, with his contract until 2021 not officially terminated yet.
Once that hurdle is cleared, Romano claims, Ancelotti will join Everton.
Of course, going from Silva, a man who was visibly out of his depth on Merseyside, to Ancelotti, who has won multiple domestic and European titles, is quite a remarkable move from Farhad Moshiri and Everton.
However, the news that he will bring his own team with him has prompted a mixed reaction, with some fans asking if Duncan Ferguson will still be involved.
According to Nicolo Schira, Ancelotti will be joined at Everton by his son Davide, athletic trainers Francesco Mauri and Manuel Morabito and match analyst Simone Montanaro, amongst others.

As much as I’m enjoying big Duncs craziness on the sidelines he should not imposed on to the staff just for sentiments sake. It has to be Carlos staff.

He’s not going to demote his own son from assistant manager in favour of Duncan Ferguson …..is he?

This is what I was afraid of. DF could always get by as a coach but once he shot his shot (and he’s done phenomenally!) a new regime will bring its own staff. Where does that leave DF?

Get dunc in the youth setup imo

Hope this means Dunc can go get a championship job or something like that, or become the U23 manager over Unsworth
