Kalidou Koulibaly has reportedly been linked with a move to Everton to reunite with Carlo Ancelotti, but the Napoli star wants to play in the Champions League.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness), there have been talks of the Blues boss wanting to bring the Senegalese centre-back to Everton, but a new report claims Koulibaly is eyeing up a move to one of Europe’s elite clubs instead.
In a report by Calciomercato, the Italian outlet highlights interest shown by Everton and Spurs, but the 28-year-old’s wish to play Champions League football will seemingly put him off joining either Premier League side.
Blues fans have responded to the Koulibaly update and despite him wanting to play in Europe, the Evertonians aren’t fazed. If the Toffees are to bid for the talisman, they will need to meet Napoli’s reported £96 million asking price (per Il Mattino via Sports Mole).
Should Everton make Djibril Sidibe's loan move permanent?
Many fans are all for bringing the Napoli star to Merseyside, with one supporter telling the club to ‘break the bank’ to sign him. Another Blue has said it would be an ‘amazing signing’ to add Koulibaly to the Goodison ranks.

Break the bank and give him what he wants, anything. Arguably one of the best centre halves in the world
