Everton: Fans reveal hope that Jean-Philippe Gbamin will have impact next season

Plenty of Everton fans have said they believe Jean-Philippe Gbamin will have an impact next season after being an absent figure this term.
The 24-year-old defensive midfielder arrived at Goodison Park last summer for a fee of £25m from German club Mainz. Impressing on a regular basis in the Bundesliga, the former France U21 international made 86 top flight appearances for the German club.
Despite his hefty price tag and expectation that he would continue his form last season into the current campaign, the youngster has made just one appearances in all competitions.
Picking up an initial injury which ruled him for eight weeks, Gbamin was further ruled out until January by club doctors in October. Such injury problems have seen the Ivory Coast international fail to gain regular chances, but Everton fans are confident he will bounce back next season.
Carlo Ancelotti could make a number of changes to the squad at Goodison Park this summer, but Gbamin will surely be handed a chance to put his injuries behind him.
Reacting to a tweet via Twitter fan account @thetoffees_com, fans shared their opinion on the one player they thought would have an impact next term and it was Gbamin’s name which was mentioned by the majority…
