Everton fans have rubbished talk that the club is ‘interested’ in a move for the under-pressure manager Diego Simeone.
Could Everton attract Diego Simeone?
Yes, we're Everton
No, we're Everton
Simeone, 49, has been in charge of Atletico Madrid since 2011 and his time with the La Liga giants looks to be coming to an end.
He has managed to win the La Liga title and two Europa League crowns during his time at the club. However, Los Colchoneros sit in sixth place in the table and has only picked up six wins out of their first 15 Spanish league games this season.

The former River Plate head coach has managed 449 games for the red side of Madrid and has averaged a points per game tally of 2.04, as per TransferMarkt.
MARCA (via Daily Mirror) has revealed that the team’s current form means that a ‘divorce is on the horizon’, with Toffees’ officials monitoring the situation closely.
Supporters did not believe the rumours with the Argentinian manager were true and made their feelings clear on social media.

A mate had a pint with Peter Reid who told him that Everton are interested in the guy that serves in the chip shop on City Road opposite St Luke’s because he’s popular with the fans. Shh don’t tell anyone it’s just as credible. 🤫
