Everton fans have been reaching out to Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes after a horrific injury during his side’s 1-1 draw against Tottenham on Sunday.
Should Cenk Tosun be playing more?
The 26-year-old had possession for the home side and was challenged from behind by Spurs’ star Son Heung-Min near the halfway line. The tackle appeared to be an innocent one to prevent a counter-attack. However, Gomes’ ankle dug into the Goodison Park turf as he went to the ground which caused the serious injury.

Gomes has been involved for eight out of the 11 appearances for the Blues this season and is expected to be out for a significant amount of time as the former Barcelona midfielder recovers from his trauma.
Supporters came together as a collective group to send their good health messages.
