Everton: Fans slam Djibril Sidibe despite positive performance

Everton supporters have criticised their French right-back Djibril Sidibe despite his performance statistics suggesting that he had a good game against Southampton.
Marco Silva’s side beat Southampton 2-1 at St Mary’s and have moved up to 15th in the table after the victory.
Should Sidibe replace Coleman long-term?
Yes

No

An early goal from Tom Davies and a strike from Richarlison with 15 minutes to spare meant that the Toffees secured three points and their first away win of the season.
Sidibe provided the important cross for Everton’s winner but was condemned by a section of Everton supporters.
Despite this, he accumulated seven tackles, 26 passes and a pass success rate of 88.5% (via WhoScored) that helped guide the Blues to three points on the south coast.
Supporters voiced their displeased their views on the France international’s performance on social media. One fan described him as “absolutely terrible”, while another stated that defending “isn’t his art”.

He is ok going forward but defending isn’t his art.

Keeps getting caught out of position defensively, better than Coleman but not the long term answer
