Everton: Fans unsurprised by stat which revealed the Toffees have been awarded zero penalties

Everton fans acted furiously as it was revealed that the Toffees have not received a single penalty during the current campaign.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have been unfortunate when it comes to being awarded penalty decisions this season after several shouts during recent games, particularly Theo Walcott’s claims against Brighton after he cleared looked to be dragged by the Seagulls’ Lewis Dunk. The anger reflects from the reverse fixture in November, where the Premier League admitted they made a mistake in awarding the South Coast side a spot-kick during the Toffees’ 3-2 defeat at the Amex Stadium.

EFC Statto on Twitter (via @EFC_Statto) revealed that the Blues are one of three teams who have not been awarded a spot-kick, including Newcastle United and Norwich City. Supporters were angry about the statistic and made their feelings clear on social media. Several fans reflected by to the Brighton game and stressed that they should have been given an early penalty during that game.
