With the Everton fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern still fuming about their late draw with Manchester United earlier this week, the Toffees need some cheering up to say the least.
So, though journalist Tancredi Palmeri has actually tweeted about a player potentially LEAVING Goodison Park, the punters have reacted with delight.
Everton to receive the 12m€ releasing clause from Barcelona for Deulofeu

According to the Italian, the Merseyside outfit will receive €12m from Barcelona for midfielder Gerard Deulofeu, currently on loan with AC Milan. Undoubtedly a big talent, the Spaniard hasn’t had much luck at the club and the notion of receiving such a big fee for a player not involved is rather sound business indeed.
Roughly, that equates to £10.2m, a reasonably big fee for someone out on loan.
Whether or not the Blaugrana plan on integrating the Spaniard into their first-team squad or sell him on remains to be seen, though it will be a return to the Camp Nou for a graduate of the famous La Masia academy.
