Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern really have been engrossed by the transfer market this summer and you can understand why.
The men from Goodison Park have easily been the most active club in the summer window so far and that has certainly made for plenty of discussion and debate here by the bar.
Indeed, Michael Keane, Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen are just a few of the names that have arrived on Merseyside and things look set to continue with them now apparently launching a £39 million bid.
Indeed, that’s according to Record – via The Metro – who reckon such a bid has been made for powerful Benfica striker Raul Jiminez.
The Mexican would certainly be the ideal target man for the club to bring in if they need another one with him also able to get about the pitch pretty well too.
Of course, though, he’d be a risk with no Premier League experience and so it remains to be seen exactly what happens here.
