After a sticky period under Ronald Koeman, the Toffees in the Tavern are delighted about life at Everton right now, as things seem to have turned a corner.
Those at Goodison Park enjoyed a strong January transfer window and can now look forward to a long-term project under the Dutchman as they look to challenge at the top end of the Premier League in the years to come.
Everton’s an exciting place to be right now and the Toffee-mad punters in the bar have found reports from Goal in France as yet another reason to be optimistic. They claim the Merseyside outfit are amongst a number of big clubs casting keen eyes over RC Lens midfielder N’Sana Simon.
The 16-year-old has reportedly impressed for Sang et Or in their youth teams, emerging as a wonderfully talented two-footed midfielder just across the English channel, with Everton said to be keen. Elsewhere in the Premier League, Manchester City are understood to have monitored his progress of late.
As you can imagine, mobile phones are everywhere in the Tavern as fans look up all they can find on Simon.
