Everton after suffering their first loss of the season will be eager to bounce back and hope that Marco Silva has the tactical nouse to help them head in the right direction.
Goodison Park is significantly a happier place than last season despite Everton finishing in 8th place and that is due to the increased amount of talent they have oozing out of their squad.
However even after investing a lot over the course of the summer transfer window, it still seems that Everton could do with more quality, especially in midfield and that could be done by signing Lyon’s Houssem Aouar.
Aouar, (who is valued at £31.5 million on Transfermarkt) is a young midfielder en route to the pinnacle of football and Everton would be lucky to have a player of his quality.
Having played against him last season in the Europa League, they would have seen the quality he already possesses despite only being 20-years-old. He made 44 total appearances last season, scoring seven goals and providing six assists from his central-midfield role.
Although Everton have the much-anticipated debut of Andre Gomes to look forward to, strengthening the midfielder with another big transfer is something they have to consider.
Morgan Schneiderlin and Tom Davies are fringe midfielders who could definitely be improved upon and Houssem Aouar would do just that.
He is a name that will be among the best the way he is progressing and Everton as a club looking to get bigger and better every year would be a great home for the Frenchman as the Premier League will give him the best platform to succeed.
