The Everton fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern are still reeling from the narrow loss to Liverpool on Monday night, hoping to forget ongoings at Goodison Park as soon as humanly possible.
Life under the stewardship of Ronald Koeman has been a mixed bag for the Toffees in the Tavern, though many of them are hopeful the Dutchman is merely beginning a long-term project at the club.
While the squad looks somewhat unbalanced right now, there’s little doubt the blue half of Merseyside boast some of the most exciting talents in the Premier League.
Well, thanks to reports from the Daily Mail, they’ve taken a huge step in keeping one of them.
According to their report, the club have opened talks with infamous agent Mino Raiola, who represents star forward Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku is regarded as one of the best young strikers in Europe, though many of the punters here wish he’d stop sulking so often.
Still, the Toffees in today are delighted at such reports, believing this could be key in their club’s future.
