Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern are keen to see who the club bring in during the summer and reports are being made that the club could be prepared to look at a player they had once previously targeted.
According to a report by Turkish Football, the Toffees are considering a move for Hannover 96 midfielder Marvin Bakalorz. The German midfielder has been linked with a switch to the Merseyside outfit for a while and has been scouted a number of times.
Bakalorz is set to enter the final year of his contract at the end of the summer, however, the Bundesliga side could be prepared to entertain an offer for the 28-year-old. He has been a mainstay for them, having missed just five league matches this season and making 19 starts.
The Toffees will have competition to sign the midfielder, with Galatasaray and Leeds United all rumoured to be interested in him, however, the locals will hope the lure of Premier League football would be enough to tempt him to join them at Goodison Park.
Everton fans in the Tavern will be urging the club to get a deal for Bakalorz done as they look to strengthen their side and will be interested to see who else they can try and bring in to help them achieve their aims of European football next season.
Their midfield has looked awful this year and the arrival of Bakalorz would at least move to try and improve things on that front ahead of what is hopefully a more successful campaign next season.
