Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern think they are on the brink of a very bright future under Ronald Koeman and they’ve been boosted by Bleacher Report’s latest story.
The Toffees are going well this season and it looks highly likely that they’ll be in the Europa League next season – as long as they can fend off the likes of West Brom.
Qualify for that tournament, then, and they’ll be well on their way to making their squad even better with them reportedly leading the race now for Michael Keane.
The 24-year-old defender has impressed this season in defence for Burnley and is thought to favour a move to Everton as he feels that he will get more first team football there than elsewhere.
Certainly, there is every chance of that with Phil Jagielka looking over the hill and Ramiro Funes Mori having his limitations so a move could be sealed come the summer.
It would mark another exciting addition to Everton’s squad of late with Ronald Koeman making some excellent signings in his maiden Merseryside season.
