Everton: Hakim Ziyech’s move to Chelsea prompts supporters to roast Ross Barkley

According to a report from Sky Sports, Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech for a £33.3 million fee at the end of the season – prompting Everton fans to roast the unsure future surrounding ex-favourite Ross Barkley.
Barkley, who signed for Chelsea back in January 2018 for £15 million, has so far managed 67 outings in all competitions whilst racking up seven goals and seven assists from midfield (Transfermarkt). However, the Englishman is finding game time hard to come by this campaign, having started just six league games – with Ziyech’s signing potentially pushing him further down the pecking order next summer.
Even though the Morocco international predominantly features as a winger, he can be utilised in centre-midfield – posing a considerable threat to Barkley’s game time. Despite the 26-year-old boasting a solid pass completion rate from last season (91.2%), Ziyech eclipses the midfielder in terms of tackles (2.1), interceptions (0.4) and key passes (3.7), as per WhoScored.com – highlighting the gap in all-round quality between the pair.
As a result, Toffees supporters have taken to Twitter in order to roast their former prodigy – taking guesses at where he’ll end up next – find all of their best comments down below.

What an absolute waste of a half decent talent and had he just knuckled down instead of being so petulant towards the end and instead of believing the southern based media as to just how good he really was he could have it all in his own city at his beloved goodison park
