The Everton fans within the Transfer Tavern are already sick to death with Sam Allardyce at the helm and are demanding change occurs in every aspect of the club this summer.
From what started as a season spelling disaster, outsiders would believe that finishing in the top half is a good achievement. Despite this, the Toffees are a hard bunch to please and the football Allardyce insists on his team playing isn’t up to the standards of what they want to see at Goodison Park.
Although Allardyce has succeeded in reviving their fortunes, Everton would love to see a top manager come into the club this summer and allow the Toffees to once again make a push for Europe.
For this to happen, of course, they will need to spend money in the transfer window that is fast approaching and our punters would love to see Marouane Fellaini, (valued at £10.80 million on Transfermarkt) return to the club after leaving for Manchester United in 2013. Back during his Everton days, Fellaini reached the highest points of his career as he was a terrific midfielder capable of breaking up play and scoring wonder goals as well.
Unfortunately, Fellaini appears undervalued at a club like United and with his contract up this summer, Everton would be wise to sneak in and tempt him back to Goodison Park. After all, if he could even perform half as well as he did during his years with Everton, then the Toffees would have another solid midfielder.
Marouane Fellaini will be a sort-after player this summer considering his contract is expiring and also due to his ability on the pitch. The towering midfielder is a hassle to play against but that is what makes him such a big player to have in your team and perhaps a return to Goodison Park could help give Everton another dimension.
