Until now, Everton had struggled to find someone capable of filling Romelu Lukaku’s boots but the revival of January signing Cenk Tosun has been terrific and the goals are starting to fly in, as of recent weeks.
After a really poor start to the campaign, Everton have slowly but surely climbed their way to the magic 40 points mark. It hasn’t been a convincing showing from Sam Allardyce’s men and even now, the future of the manager is uncertain.
One thing is for sure though, the Toffees must bring some new faces in this summer and this could start with the signature of Kevin Volland of Bayer Leverkusen. The 25-year-old has enjoyed another stellar campaign, scoring ten goals and grabbing four assists.
Given how well he has been doing over the past years in Germany, his low valuation of £18.00 million on Transfermarkt could see Everton target a move for the versatile forward this summer. After all, it is still evident that the Toffees need some more capable players in the striker position after a poor display in front of goal from players like Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Oumar Niasse.
Holland can also be utilised as a player on either wing or his natural centre-forward role. The powerful German would add much-needed quality to Goodison Park and could be a top player for the Merseyside outfit.
Everton are rebuilding their squad well since the January transfer window and with a lot of activity expected this summer, adding Kevin Volland would be a wise move for the side looking to return to the European places.
