Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to seeing who Ronald Koeman can get to move to their side in the summer window when it opens for business.
The men from Goodison Park saw Koeman guide them to a 7th placed finish last season and that was partly thanks to the players he signed over the course of the campaign.
Indeed, players like Idrissa Gueye and Ashley Williams certainly had a good impact and now the task for the Dutchman is to bring in further players who are going to achieve similar.
Who comes in, though, remains to be seen but we reckon he should seriously consider bringing in Rachid Ghezzal from Lyon as soon as the window opens up.
It’s clear that Koeman likes wide players who can add to the attack but he has seen issues with Yannick Bolasie’s fitness and Kevin Mirallas often proving inconsistent.
Ghezzal, though, should be the kind of player that helps solve such issues with him certainly proving a top star this season just gone in Ligue 1 for Lyon.
Indeed, his stats certainly make for impressive reading with him contributing to ten goals via either his own strikes or assists this season and we think that would only increase for the Toffees.
He has the skill and trickery to help unlock tight defences and as Everton look to break into the top six, they are going to need even more of that than they already have.
