Everton fans are gushing over Richarlison’s tweet replying to his announcement video from 2018.
It seems the Brazilian has been scrolling through the club’s Twitter archives as he has replied to the official post announcing his move from Watford two years ago. ‘Heart even speeds up when I see it again’, he wrote in his native language.
Richarlison joined the Blues from the Hornets for £50 million after his performances down south caught the eye of many over the season (via BBC Sport). Since arriving on Merseyside, the 23-year-old has scored 26 goals in 70 appearances, with ten coming from this season (via Transfermarkt).

Since his arrival, Richarlison has become a fan favourite and has embraced the values and culture of being an Evertonian and part of the People’s Club. So much so that it seems the Blues never want to see him leave.
Many have replied to the Brazilian’s tweet, with the majority begging him to stay with the club forever. One fan has replied that they are ‘not ready for the heartbreak’ if Richarlison was ever to depart.
This comes after speculation in recent months that the forward is of interest to Spanish giants Barcelona (Liverpool Echo).

I love how much he loves us and I hate how much he’s going to break our hearts if he ever leaves. That’s down to the club now to show ambition and progress in order to keep him long term!
