Everton to hold more transfer talks over talented 23-year-old shortly

Still celebrating THAT win over Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, things are once again looking up for the Everton fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern as the club enter a brand new dawn.

The Toffees have been somewhat of a mixed bag under Ronald Koeman so far this season, so the fact two promising youngsters notched against City, coupled with the mega-money arrival of Morgan Schneiderlin, is hugely promising at Goodison Park.

Which is why reports from the Daily Mail have been taken with a dose of reality. While some of the Merseyside locals aren’t too happy to read reports suggesting winger Gerard Deulofeu is the subject of further talks between they and AC Milan.

As talented a player as the 22-year-old Spaniard is, he’s struggled for game time of late and is understood to be of interest to the Rossoneri as they attempt to keep up the chase with the top order of Serie A. He’s provided some of the drinkers in the bar with some good memories since he joined from Barcelona, though the La Roja U21 ace’s good games are often few and far between.

While Everton are understood to have ideally liked to have landed another attacker before allowing him to depart, talks with the Italian titans will reportedly be held.

Are Everton making a mistake in allowing the Spaniard to leave? Let us know below…
