Everton would finally look menacing up front with addition of £13.5m-rated French forward

The Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern have been complaining all season long and this summer they pray that their acquisitions will be more suited to the Premier League so they can push on once again.

It’s been a long and rather boring season for the Toffees and especially recently with them having nothing to play for because their league status is safe once again.

The Toffees fans are a hard bunch to please and they want new players and a manager to come in an revitalise their chances of success next season after just going at a steady pace with Sam Allardyce in charge.

In that case our punters gave identified a top striker who could be a real cult hero for Everton, someone in the name of Alassane Plea, who is valued at £13.50 million on Transfermarkt.

The 25-year-old has notched up 19 goals in all competitions thus far and his continuous progression in Ligue 1 is turning many teams attention towards the hot-shot, including Everton. His pace and trickery make him a hard striker to keep hold off and once he is away from a defender, there is no one stopping him from finding the back of the net.

Cenk Tosun has gone some way to repaying his large transfer fee but Everton are yet to see what he is capable of in a full season in the Premier League. Therefore although it could be risky, Plea is a player the Toffees should seriously look to acquire.
