The Everton fans within the Transfer Tavern are well aware of their teams unsuccessful season thus far but that could be all amend with a strong transfer window to improve the side ahead of next year.
Goodison Park has not been the happy home of years gone by this season, partly because of the poor performances of the pitch. Their huge summer spending of over £150 million last summer looks to have been a complete misjudgement and a number of those signing haven’t lived up to their big price-tags.
A player who could well be worth a large price-tag is Spanish starlet Inaki Williams, who is valued at £27.00 million according to Transfermarkt. Williams plays for Atletico Bilbao and has been a star for them throughout the last few seasons, with this campaign proving no different.
Thus far, the 23-year-old has scored 8 goals and grabbed 6 assists in 43 appearances. His dribbling skills are some on the best in the Spanish league, as Williams can easily make defenders look foolish whilst skipping past them. Right now, the Toffees are blessed with good wingers in the form of Theo Walcott and Yannick Bolasie but the capture of Inaki Williams would take their attacking options to the next level.
Everton certainly have the foundations of a successful team but are missing some quality players capable of propelling their league position. Our punters would love to see the talented Spaniard join the Premier League after years of linking him with a move to England. Unfortunately, it won’t be easy for Everton to acquire him but if the money is right, Inaki Williams would make a great signing as they look to improve further.
