Everton: Yannick Bolasie stance from Sporting Lisbon has some Toffees supporters in uproar - Everton

According to a report from Portuguese outlet Record via Sport Witness, Everton loanee Yannick Bolasie has been ‘left aside‘ by Sporting Lisbon as the club reportedly may opt not to pursue a permanent deal for the winger due to his recent poor form, resulting in some Toffees supporters becoming fed up with the situation.

Bolasie, who has started just 11 games since going out on loan to Sporting, scoring one league goal, is being brushed aside by the club who think he is not worth the hassle of a permanent deal. The DR Congo winger has made just 32 appearances for parent club Everton since he signed from Crystal Palace in 2016 for a £25m fee.

Since then, a serious cruciate ligament injury which kept him out for a year (Transfermarkt), combined with poor form during his playing time, has resulted in the winger becoming surplus to requirements at Goodison Park. Compared to Bernard, the 30-year-old has amassed more shots on goal per game (1.8) but fails to complete as many key passes (0.5) or dribbles (1.3), as per WhoScored.com.

As a result, these Toffees supporters want to see the ‘frustrating’ winger gone sooner rather than later. Find all of their best comments down below.
