It seems Everton fans are pretty much done with Theo Walcott. There’s not really many alternatives though, but perhaps Valentino Lazaro is the man to put to the Toffees out of their misery.

Valentino who? I hear you say. Well, he’s the right winger for Hertha Berlin who’s making quite the impression in Germany. He’s played 24 times in the Bundesliga this season, scoring two and assisting five.

However, don’t let those bang average stats put you off though because we’ve heard good things.

Everton have too, and if reports from Calcionapoli 24 via Sport Witness are true, the club are looking at him as a Walcott upgrade. The club have big plans for the future with a new stadium on the way, so they need to step up their hit-and-miss form to get their project going.

How nice would that be, Everton fans? Not having to worry just what version of your team will show up on any given day.

Walcott has played 30 times in the Premier League this season, scoring three, assisting two and impressing roughly zero of the Goodison faithful. This wasn’t what they were promised when Marco Silva was appointed and the ex-Arsenal man brought in under Sam Allardyce, hoping to kickstart his stalling career.

Well, that just hasn't happened, has it?

He’s now 30-years-old and he's clearly past his best and so doesn’t fit into this young squad the manager is assembling in a bid for European football. Valentino is just 23 however and would fit into that long-term vision the club are setting up.

The report claims Leicester are also interested, but Everton’s plans should be enough to convince the £15.3m-rated (as per Transfermarkt) wide man to join the Silva revolution.

They just have to make a concrete offer.
