Everton have been a mixed bag in recent times, which has had a negative affect on their European push.
The Toffees will certainly be hoping for better performances in the New Year as Marco Silva has failed to rally his troops at times this season.
And, with the January transfer window on the horizon, a couple of the club’s youngsters may look to take their football careers elsewhere. Indeed, with regular minutes hard to come by for some young players at Goodison Park at this moment in time, a transfer window exit seems like the right option.
Therefore, Silva will find it impossible to stop this young PAIR leaving in January…
Ademola Lookman has struggled to work his way into Silva’s plans in the current campaign as he continues to live life on the substitutes’ bench.
Indeed, the youngster impressed massively during his loan spell at RB Leipzig last season, scoring five goals and providing four assists in 11 appearances.
So, with plenty of potential still yet to be unlocked and a lack of first-team minutes coming his way, a permanent January transfer window exit looks likely.
Mason Holgate secured regular first-team minutes towards the start of the season as he filled in at the heart of the defence after Phil Jagielka’s red card against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
But, things have dried up in recent times as the likes of Kurt Zouma, Yerry Mina, Michael Keane and Phil Jagielka are all ahead of him in the pecking order, so a loan exit looks inevitable.
Although, with the Toffees already sorted in defensive areas for years to come, perhaps a permanent move away would be more beneficial in the long run.
