Ronald Koeman’s not messing around is he Everton fans, and for those in the Transfer Tavern, they know a race is on for a certain Congolese striker!
The Toffees have had an £18m bid for Crystal Palace forward Yannick Bolasie rejected by the Eagles, according to reports in the Guardian
Bolasie, who is a key part of the Palace lineup has been linked with various transfers away from Selhurst Park this summer but Alan Pardew is holding firm on the valuation of his striker, who he believes is worth closer to the £30m mark.
But the move shows Koeman’s intent to improve his Goodison Park squad after he took the reigns on Merseyside earlier this summer.
He’s already added Aston Villa midfielder Idrissa Gueye to his ranks, whilst Martin Stekelenberg has also joined to add goalkeeping cover.
So Everton fans, should your break the bank to bring in the Eagle, or is your money better spent elsewhere? Let us know in the comments below!
