Koeman ready to rock Real Madrid and land Euro 2016 hero at Everton

Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern are frustrated with the clubs high profile interest in signing a centre-back, resigning the club to the sale of starlet John Stones.

However, AS (via Sports Witness) reports today that the Toffees may still be in the mix to sign a midfielder during this summers transfer window.

Their report suggests that the club have contacted Newcastle United in an attempt to sign Euro 2016 star Moussa Sissoko.

The 26-year old has been a hot topic since his impressive performances in the Europeans Championships has wiped his Toon inconsistency clean, with Real Madrid, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund all eyeing a move for the Frenchman.

AS reports that Sissoko will cost anywhere in the region of €30m and Real Madrid in particular may have to sell the likes of either James Rodriguez or Mateo Kovacic in order to comply with UEFA’s financial fair play rules.

With lavish funds at his disposal, Ronald Koeman could make a move for the marauding midfielder after missing out on Stoke City ace Marko Arnautovic.

Will Sissoko get a Premier League move, despite his inflated asking price? Let us know below…
