Kurt Zouma must start for Everton against Huddersfield Town

Everton remain unbeaten in the Premier League under Marco Silva having taken five points from their opening three fixtures.

The Toffees have gotten off to a rather promising start in the current campaign as they continue to push towards a European place. Interestingly, Marco Silva did splash the cash this summer and made full use of the loan window, which means that he now has a star-studded squad at his disposal.

Silva’s side will welcome Huddersfield Town to Goodison Park later on today in what should be an easy encounter for the Toffees. The Terriers have only managed to secure one point from their opening three Premier League fixtures, so they’ll face another uphill task on Merseyside.

Interestingly, one man who is yet to start a Premier League fixture for the Toffees is summer signing Kurt Zouma, who is currently valued at £13.5 million (by Transfermarkt).

Sadly, the Chelsea defender suffered relegation to the Championship during his loan spell at Stoke City last season, but he was one of their standout performers. Indeed, the Frenchman has the ability to break into Maurizio Sarri’s side at Stamford Bridge in the near future, with a successful spell at Goodison Park working wonders for him.

Everton have been vulnerable in the defensive third of the field at times this season having let in five goals from their opening three Premier League fixtures, so they could definitely benefit from having Zouma’s strength, pace and solidity at the heart of the defence.
