Romelu Lukaku’s name has been heard by this bartender more than his own over the course of the past week in the Transfer Tavern, with the Belgian’s Everton future having dominated conversations among Toffees supports.
In case you have been living under a rock, the striker has reportedly told the club he has no intention of renewing his contract at Goodison Park, which has come as a blow to them given how impressive he has been this season.
The 23-year-old is currently the Premier League’s top goalscorer with 21 strikes to his name and is, arguably, in the best form of his career to date.

Away with his national team for their World Cup qualifiers, Lukaku was quizzed by Sky Sports on his contract situation, to which he replied:
“The decision is already made, so I can’t talk about that.”
It’s unclear what this “decision” is, but it would appear that Lukaku reiterated his desire to leave.
The ex-Chelsea and West Brom man also went on talk about his ambitions as a footballer, again suggesting that he is looking to leave Everton:
“Sometimes people will mistake things that I say but it’s just ambition that I have; I want to win titles and trophies and I don’t think people should take that as arrogance – people should embrace it.
“This is what footballers need to achieve if they want to become the best, and I think young kids need to learn that too.”
Romelu Lukaku will not be an Everton player in 2017/18 – agree?
