Everton would like to believe that they can continue their brilliant start throughout the campaign and achieve their goal of getting into Europe.

By looking at their squad, it's fair to say that Everton have a fighting chance too. Marco Silva spent well over the summer, cementing every position on the pitch so there are at least two good options in each area.

Having achieved an 8th place finish last year without playing particularly well, Everton are now playing good football as well as picking up results, a combination that could lead the Toffees forward in the next few seasons.

Competition in the top half of the table is really heating up this season so Everton could find it beneficial to delve into the transfer market once again during the month of January.

A player who could bring a lot to Goodison Park is Valencia forward Santi Mina.

Mina, who is valued at £18 million on Transfermarkt, is a player who's grown over the last few years into a very good forward at Valencia.

The 23-year-old grasped his chance to make a name for himself at the historic Spanish club last season, when he scored 15 goals in 38 appearances.

This season, he has continued his goalscoring with one goal every other game - six in 12 matches. That is a good record for a player that doesn't always play in the centre-forward role, seeing as Santi Mina is comfortable out on the wing as well.

Everton already have good forward options but should anything happen to the likes of Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson, goals would be a lot harder to come by.

That's why with the versatility Santi Mina has, he could be an incredibly useful player to have in their squad.
