Everton are on a very bad run of form right now and Marco Silva faces an uncertain future, just under six months after he took over as manager.

For all the effort it took to get the Portuguese boss, the Everton fans and board would have been expecting a lot more and that hasn't been delivered as of yet.

Their European dreams are seemingly evading them right now thanks to their loss in form so although they should still put maximum effort into finishing as high as they can, Everton must focus on how they could improve next season.

A midfielder may be a key signing they consider among other positions and Real Madrid's Marcos Llorente could fit the criteria nicely.

Llorente, (who is valued at £13.5 million on Transfermarkt) would be a great option for Everton who would be a massive injection of quality in the summer.

Midfield wise, Everton have some options although the likes of James McCarthy and Idrissa Gueye, among others, could be moving on this summer having been touted for January exits, meaning there is a need for more talent in that role.

So step forward Marcos Llorente.

The 24-year-old is a Real Madrid midfielder, who has been utilised by Los Blancos this season and in total, has conjured up 13 appearances.

Any player good enough to feature for Madrid's first-team cannot be bad and if Marcos Llorente wanted to show his complete ability, Everton would be the club for him.

Like Barcelona's Andre Gomes who struggled for regular match-time, Marcos Llorente could prove a lot in England and ultimately help Everton achieve their European dreams.
