So according to MirrorFootball Everton gaffer David Moyes has joined the race for the signature of West ham’s Demba Ba as he looks to add fire power up top for the toffees.
The pacey Senegalese hit man who can also play on the wing certainly isn’t shy in front of goal and has whipped the ball between the sticks for every club whom have employed him at senior level, plus banging three goals for his country during his 10 outings.
But the French born front man appears to be somewhat of a unreliable character and it appears Newcastle and Sunderland are also trying to lure him towards the North east and it is believed he will take up his occupation for whoever is willing to dig deeper and fore fill his greed.
Ba kicked and stamped his feet January this year and refused to travel to Hoffenheim’s training camp because he wanted a move to West ham. Conditions in his contract meant he was able to flee the German outfit where he had spent over three seasons also playing a vital role in the clubs promotion to the Bundesliga.
His first choice move to the premiership was Stoke City, but the 26 year old failed the medical for the potters. He also attempted to join Stuggart in June 2009, but again failed the medical.
He made his move to Upton Park at the end of January signing a three year deal and has attracted attention after his seven goals in 12 appearances has impressed a handful of sides. After just four months with the Hammers he is seeking elsewhere yet again and if your club sign him you can be sure its not because of the badge on his chest, but for the wage clearing in his bank account.
Evertonians, fingers crossed he fails the medical…
