‘Oh yes please’ – Everton fans on Twitter are simply loving recent Allardyce reports

The Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to a story in The Daily Mail, that claims West Brom have held preliminary talks with Everton manager, Sam Allardyce as they look for a new permanent manager. Allardyce has been in charge at Goodison Park since December last year and has failed to win over the majority of the Toffees who want to see him out of the club this summer.

West Brom are putting up a very light fight to stay in the Premier League. The Baggies were as good as down when Alan Pardew left the club on the 2nd April, although a resurgence under interim manager Darren Moore has seen them live to fight for a few more days at least. The Hawthorns is still extremely likely to be a Championship ground next season, although there’s a slim chance of Moore keeping the Baggies alive.

Sam Allardyce has been quietly going about his business at Goodison Park, although the fans have done everything in their power to make it known to the former England man that he’s not welcome in the blue half of Merseyside. Big Sam has come under fire since he was sacked from the England job by the FA following allegations of mispractice. Now though, the Everton fans could be close to seeing the last of the 63-year-old at Goodison as he’s being lined up for the West Bromwich Albion job in summer.
