The Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern have absolutely loved watching Ronald Koeman splash the cash on Merseyside this summer and are hoping their Dutch coach has a few more signings up his sleeve.
There’s fresh optimism amongst the Toffees in the Tavern heading into the new campaign, with many of our resident Evertonians dreaming about a potential spot in the top four. With that in mind, reports from the Sun have proven rather promising.
They claim the Goodison Park outfit are among a number of clubs keen on signing Borussia Dortmund forward Emre Mor. Indeed, the likes of Liverpool, Roma and Inter Milan are also believed to be keen on the Turkish forward, who only moved to the German giants from FC Nordsjaelland last summer.
Clearly a huge talent, the 20-year-old struggled for game time and featured just 12 times last term, with the player reportedly keen on trying his luck in the Premier League.
While Jurgen Klopp is believed to be a big fan of Mor’s, though could be gazumped by his Merseyside rivals, who are said to have been alerted by his situation.
Boasting the likes of Ademola Lookma and Dominic Calvert-Lewin in attack, Mor could help form a young and talented front line at Goodison Park next season.
Mor, despite a relatively slow season last term, would be quite the coup for Everton. A hugely talented player, the Turkish international would be a long-term investment for the Toffees, helping bolster their attack following the departure of Romelu Lukaku.
