Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern cannot catch a break from this season it appears after the latest reports coming out of Goodison Park.
According to The Sun, the players in the Toffees’ dressing room are involved in a deep rift between two of their players, causing a number of them to consider leaving the club altogether. Tom Davies and Oumar Niasse are believed to be the members involved, with the teenager strongly considering his future at his boyhood club.
Niasse, who has been one of Everton’s better players in an abysmal season, has been the subject of abuse from his team-mates, with some stating that he is not welcome at the club and he should go, or if he does not, then they will.
Whoever, takes over at Goodison Park, with Marco Silva still the favourite, will have a huge mess on his hands as soon as he walks in the door that he will need to sort out before the beginning of next year’s campaign.
The infighting between the players in the dressing room will have been a damning factor to how the players performed on the pitch, however, the locals will not be pleased with who it is about.
Niasse, who scored nine goals, had performed as one of their better players when given the chance, however, the Senegal international is not well liked and is finding it difficult to be comfortable at the club.
The new manager may find it easier to let one of his players go, rather than risk losing a number of them because of one problem, which could spell the end for the 28-year-old.
